The first London outing for South Korea’s biggest chain, which already has outlets in Singapore, Beijing and Los Angeles, Bibigo will major on assemble-to-order bibimbap (myriad permutations on the theme of mixed rice with vegetables) backed up by hotplate BBQs such as beef bulgogi and other native delicacies. Spread over two floors, this smartly westernised contemporary venue will be more of a destination restaurant and bar rather than a fast-food pit stop – although customers will have the chance to drop by for Korean snacks and ready-made items to take away.
