The Wing Wah group of Chinese restaurants is owned and run by master chefs from some of the prestigious restaurants in London. With six branches spread across Birmingham, Warley, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Burton and Nuneaton, the taste buds of those looking for some authentic Far East cuisine are well assuaged here. The menu is a parade of dishes with nothing that is alarmingly unfamiliar, so kick off with starters of Peking style spare ribs, sesame prawn on toast, crispy seaweed and hot and sour soup. A wide range of main courses encompass pan-fried fish fillet with fresh mango sauce, Chinese roasted pork with honey and mixed seafood laksa. Take your pick from a collection of delicious dim sums - glutinous rice in lotus leaf, rainbow ox honeycomb and chicken's claw in black bean sauce amongst others. Japanese teppanyaki has many dedicated followers and who would not love to savour a piping hot meal of squid, shrooms or water chestnuts curd. Special offers, a huge buffet spread and a dazzling chocolate fountain display are other features which regularly draw diners to Wing Wah.
