Tucked underneath Charing Cross, it is easy to miss this branch of Starbucks. The food is of the usual good standard, and the service is particularly friendly: I always felt very welcome. Choose your table wisely, for the toilet at the back is popular with tourists looking for relief: a queue of people with crossed legs usually forms, sadly. Otherwise, there are plenty of tables, and plenty of places you can settle with your laptop and tap away in peace. Oddly, the WiFi was occasionally slow here; can I blame tourists again?
A bit crowdy for work, but wifi works well.
